Rapyd Europe is looking for a Scheme Relations Specialist to join our dynamic Collect Acquiring team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with leading card schemes, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. You will collaborate with a team of specialists on a variety of payment processing initiatives, ensuring that Rapyd remains at the forefront of the payments industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee scheme-related projects within the business unit.
• Manage and cultivate relationships with card schemes on behalf of Collect Acquiring.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of scheme developments, mandates, and fee structures.
• Spearhead additional projects within the business unit, contributing to the overall strategic objectives.

• A university degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in the financial sector, and/or project management, is highly desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills in both English and Icelandi
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain productive relationships.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a readiness to embrace change and drive innovation
