OUR HISTORY
We started our journey as a mobile payments company but quickly saw a bigger problem. In 2016, we set out to build an eWallet that would allow users to access global payment methods without relying on traditional banking.
What we found was a fragmented system with multiple integrations, local services, licensing requirements and regulatory complexity in every market. It wasn’t scalable.
After we were unable to find a partner that had already built this global payments infrastructure, we realized the much greater opportunity in building it ourselves and making it available to companies and innovators worldwide to liberate global commerce.
